Jansu Studio is a creative studio for art, architecture and design by Jan and Su. Partners in business and life, we combine 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship and the creative industries.
Selected project collaborations are preferably on a micro, small and medium-scale. This allows us to remain nimble and flexible to new ideas in this ever-changing world of design.
Mainly self-commissioned, we strive for elegant solutions addressing gaps in the real world to better lives for our partners, target groups, and communities.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR, M.A.
I bring a wealth of experience as a seasoned startup founder, adept company builder, and team enabler with numerous successful exits. Passionate about innovating and adapting sustainable business models, I identify actionable revenue ideas and processes optimizations. With a no-nonsense approach, I find practical solutions for real impact beyond cosmetics.
As founder and Principal of my own charitable foundation, I understand the needs and wants of social enterprises, Not-For-Profits, and charities, how to find or initiate worthwhile projects, measure impact meaningful and do good better.
As artist “Jan SEE” I dive into the lives of humans and animals, capturing their highs, lows, smiles, and tears. My creative toolkit revolves around digital art, installations, and a blend of mixed media, all woven together.
Beyond my career and charity work, I practice and teach Martial Arts, Yoga, and Visual Arts to attain balance and harmony. And I am walked daily by our rescue dog.

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR, M.Arch.
I am an Architect, trained and registered in Singapore.
My 10+ years’ experience in architectural design and project management gives me a strong background as a generalist and a specialist design consultant. While with design firms and corporate real estate development companies, I worked on small private residences, medium and large complex commercial mixed-use buildings, with a focus on user-experience design for retail shopping malls, public and urban spaces.
In 2017, I took a work sabbatical to travel the world with my partner, Jan, seeking a place to settle down and build on our next stage of life – one that’s fitting with our life goals and values.
It was also during this time, that I revisited my interest in creating artworks as a form of pure artistic expression and outlet. For me, artmaking is a way of slowing down, to learn and discover about life and the environment. Working under the pseudonym, Silent Doodles, I approach my wide-ranging artistic practice through both observation, memory and exploration. The visual characteristics of movement and flow, contrasts and harmony form the underlying structure in my works.
Now, as a co-founder of Jansu Studio, I can do what I love and live for. Together we pursue design and architectural projects aligned with our passions that are beneficial to our community and lived environment.

Coodee is our creative and artistic quality controller, and the soul of the company.
A native rescue from Carnavorn in Western Australia, this little bundle of joy keeps the energy levels high up. More importantly, she reminds everyone to take breaks for food, naps, snacks and play.
